We took our son, age 4, to see Dr. Skasko recently. He kept our son at ease and Andrew loved him! On the professional side, he was very thorough and let us know all of our options in Andrew's dental care. He was honest and upfront and we were easily able to come upon a treatment plan for Andrew. I absolutely recommend Dr. Skasko to everyone...in fact, our whole family will be switching to him now!

About Hygienist: Our hygienist was amazing! Andrew loved her and she did such an amazing job keeping him comfortable. She explained what she was going to do every step of the way, in a way that Andrew could understand. Great experience!

I highly recommend Dr Skasko and his dental practice, Elite Dental. Every aspect of my dental care has been first class.

Dr Skasko is highly skilled, detailed oriented and a perfectionist ( I mean this in GOOD way!) Dr Skasko is also a genuinely nice guy,very caring and personable.

My own situation required a "team effort" which started with Dr. Stoner (Stoner Periodontic Specialists) and Dr Skasko's expertise. The process took less time than I thought it would and Dr Skasko was very conscientious about making sure I was as comfortable as possible. My results ( crowns on my lower teeth)are just gorgeous and I couldn't be more pleased!

The entire experience of being in Dr Skasko's care is top notch. The office is ultramodern,beautiful and clean. His staff are warm,knowledgeable and helpful. ( thanks Kim & Karen)

For years different dentists have told me I need to get a crown down but I have never liked a dentist enough or felt comfortable enough to follow through with the process. After being referred to Dr. Skasko for a cleaning I finally felt comfortable enough to schedule the crown. Dr. Skasko and his staff are wonderful and put you completely at ease. And to top it all of his office is state of the art. Ultra modern technology. Very impressive!

I went in for a cleaning a few weeks ago and went back to have two cavities fixed today. Dr. Skasko is by far the best dentist I have been to yet. The entire procedure was painless and quick. Dr. Skasko has taken care of all of our families needs for the last two years. Cleanings, fillings, caps, bridges, gum and cosmetic procedures. He explains each procedure thoroughly and is extremely gentle and concerned with the patients comfort. Even my kids love going to see him! The staffs help with insurance, payment and appointment schedules is impeccable and they are so friendly. I would (and do!) recommend Elite dental to everyone.

The staff of Elite Dental is what sets it apart from other dentists' offices. Every encounter I've had has been above par - service and result.

I had a somewhat unique case that Dr. Skasko took on and he did an absolutely amazing job! Because of a skiing accident when I was younger, I had a front tooth that was higher than the rest of my teeth, including the gum line. He did his best to save that tooth, but when it basically started to die, he worked in conjunction with Dr. Stoner (Stoner Periodontic Specialists) to give me a new smile. I couldn't be happier with the end result. It isn't possible to tell which of my front teeth is the crown and which is real.

If you're looking for a dentist to give you a beautiful new smile, this is the place to go. If you're looking just for a place to get your teeth cleaned twice a year, this is also the place to go! A friendly, knowledgeable staff, beautiful setting, and a sparkling smile will keep you coming back!

I was really apprehensive going into Dr. Skasko's office for the first time. My husband is also a patient here and told me that I would really like them. He was right! I called Kim at 11am on Monday 6/29 and she got me right in for a consultation at 11:30. I couldn't believe how quick! They saw how afraid I was and took extra time and care to make sure I was ok. They even let my husband come back with me. I haven't had my procedures yet, but my initial impression of the entire team is great! The way in which Dr. Skasko describes everything makes you feel at ease, he answers questions honestly, but without making you feel afraid. I am looking forward to working with him for many years to come.

About Hygienist: Like I said that entire staff was welcoming, friendly, and seemed genuinely happy to see me. I didn't get the opportunity to work with Karen this time, but did get to see Violet. She was great! Made sure I was comfortable- assured me that she too didn't like dental work- I came in feeling scared (and embarrassed that I was scared.) and left feeling such relief!

WHAT AN AMAZING GROUP OF PEOPLE!!! I have been going to elite dental for over 3 years now, and do not have a single complaint. I am SUPER obsessed with my teeth... and they tolerate my craziness.

Kim is super friendly, always smiling, and always in a great mood. She makes you want to be there from the minute you walk in the door!!!

Where do I start with violet?!?! SHE IS AMAZING!! Always entertaining and can really put any one at ease. She takes the most amazing x-rays...hahaha

And then there is Dr. Skasko.... OUTSTANDING... a true perfectionist. Me being one myself, I would nott want anything else!! He is very passionate about his work. From check ups to crowns and filling, he makes sure he explains and shows what he is talking about.

The office is welcoming, and not your "typical" dr's office that we all dread. Great magazines, SUPER friendly staff, and a relaxation room with an amazing massage chair.

I take my dental care very seriously, and so was somewhat apprehensive about trusting my teeth to a new dentist (I'm new to the area). I need not have been concerned. Dr. Skasko and his entire staff were courteous, professional and most importantly, extremely knowledgeable. It was a great experience from the moment I walked in the front door to the time I left. The office is beautiful and relaxing; the staff was timely and they did a great job with my teeth/ gums. While they were very thorough with my care, the experience was not at all like going to the dentist, more like going to the spa! The office is very modern and clean. Its such a great feeling when you come in and everyone knows you by name. Its more like a spa feel. There is a soothing massage chair you can relax in before your appt starts. The facilities are great. Each chair has its own flat screen TV.

The DR is great. I have never had to wait to see him. I had some cosmetic work done and he let me see his progress along the way to make sure it was just what I wanted. During the entire procedure my comfort was their top priority.

The procedure was submitted to my insurance for preapproval and all needed paperwork was ready for me when I was done. I would like to take this opportunity to recommend Elite Dental. The friendly staff, modern facilities and expertise set them above the rest.

About Hygienist: The hygientist is great. She is so friendly and remembers me everytime. Also the work she does is great. Gives me tips on flossing etc.. It really is a great all around experience at Elite Dental.

Being a teenager, well a young adult now that I am 18, Dr. Skasko is the best dentist I've ever had, and he is really attractive which makes the dental procedures all the more fun. But in all seriousness, I've never had a complaint about him. He is very nice and caring and he used to give me tips about College life. I still go there, its a little costly but very worth it. I would recommend him for almost anyone.

About Hygienist: I love Karen. I mean, shes so nice, how could you not? But I'm not sure what the other hygienist was the last time I went there, but she was really annoying and bothersome. I didn't like her too well, but I don't think I've seen her since so, I would just ask for Karen if I were you.

I was first introduced to Dr. Skasko and his staff in April 2007. From the moment I walked in and met Kim (the office manager) who showed me around the office, got me ice water and let me relax in the massage chair. I was nervous about treatment, having been told by a previous dentist that I needed two root canals and six teeth extracted. I'm young and really care about my appearence, especially my smile, the first thing people notice about me. When Karen took me back for my x-rays and cleaning she kept conversation with me to keep my mind clear. She used a piezo and did an exceptional job, THANKS Karen!! When treatment was started I felt completely comfortable and at home. Dr. Skasko treated me with a few build ups and two zirconia crowns, which are beautiful. I still can't believe that I have all my teeth and I didn't need any root canals! Treatment was painless and I can't wait to finish. I could never thank Dr. Skasko and his staff enough for what he has done for me and how much better I feel eating with no pain. GREAT JOB GUYS!!!!!

Dr. Skasko was amazing; this was my first visit to his office and I was impressed from the get go. The office staff was very friendly and helpful, they were there to make sure all my needs were met. The office is on the cutting edge of technology, everything they do is digital, from your records to taking instant x-rays. They have large TVs that they show you the x-rays and go over them with you. They start you off in a large massage chair with a huge plasma tv to relax you before treatment. The entire facility felt like a health spa. Dr. Skasko was very comforting and explained everything. I would recommend him to everyone.

When I first started going to Dr. Skasko, it had been years since I had seen a dentist. I was very anxious and in a good deal of pain (turns out I needed a root canal). He was able to comfort me and sent me to someone else to do the root canal. He did do the finishing work on the tooth though. The facility was excellent and relaxing. Everyone that worked in the office was very attractive and made the visit that much better.

I went in to see Dr. Skasko for a teeth cleaning and check up. He was super friendly and explained to me what different things he could do to give me a better smile if I so wished it. I didnt feel like he was pressuring me at all. This is rare!! He also explained that I would need to have my wisdom teeth out and acctually showed me the xrays. He referred me to one of the best doctors for this. I have had bad experiences with dentists trying to do procedures that they are not framiliar with but Dr. Skasko made it a point that their office does not do this. After I left, I felt like I had been to the spa for an hour. I would recommend him to EVERYONE.

As usual, I was greeted with smiles and offered a beverage, then offered the massaging chair while I watched the flat screen with my choice of channel. It's great to start a visit so relaxed!! My cleaning was relaxing, while watching the flat screen in my room. Dr. Skasko was once again very personable and great to talk to. I really could not belive how friendly everyone in the office was ! I was very imperssed by the lay out of the office! Very modern! When I walked into the door Kim said Hi with a smile asked me and my childern if we would like something to drink! They had all kinds of stuff to drink that kids love and adults! I had the most wonderful experience while at Elite Dental. The staff was amazing, and Dr. Skasko did everything that he could to make sure that I was comfortable and pain free throughout the entire procedure. He communicated with me very well about what he was doing and if I was OK the entire time. The office is very nice, clean and modern. It does not feel like a dentists office, which for me is a bit relieving. As a child I was always scared of the dentist, even into adult hood. Going into his office I was nervous at first but the staff made sure that I was very comfortable. I could not ask for more. What's more is that Dr.Skasko fixed a problem with my tooth that another dentist created. I had a cavity filled at another place and it was not filled properly and was creating pain every time I ate or drank anything. Dr.Skasko new what to do and fixed the problem very quickly. I was able to start using that tooth again in a matter of hours! Thank you so much Dr.Skasko.

I had a general cleaning with Dr. Skasko which was wonderful, his staff is extremely thorough and the atmosphere was very relaxing. I hadn't seen a dentist in over a year, but from the moment I walked into the office I felt comfortable and at home. I was greeted with a smile and it felt like they already knew me, even offered a beverage. The cleaning was gentle yet everything was covered and explained and since I am pregnant they took every precaution to make sure the procedures were safe and comfortable. I planned a follow up visit to fix a filling. On my second visit Dr. Skasko repaired a cracked filling without even numbing the area and there was little to no pain which I thought was amazing. He cleaned out the filling and a cavity and the whole time made sure I was okay. He took out the old silver filling and cleaned up the tooth and the result was beautiful! I appreciated the fact that he called me himself well after the appointment to make sure everything was allright. I was impressed. The cost was minimal due to my insurance which they found out and took care of. I haven't experienced such a warm, friendly staff in a dentists office in a long time but i would definitely recommend them!

After quitting smoking, I wanted to reward myself by getting my teeth whitening. I knew the only way to do that was to go to the dentist, a trip I hadn't made in almost a decade. I hated dentists ever since I was a child and felt full pain of drilling and fillings. My colleague highly recommended Dr. Skasko so I said, why not give it a try and made an appointment.

I was nervous, as you can imagine, upon walking into the office but Kim greeting me with a warm smile and soon after I found myself sitting in a wonderful massage chair in a room with a waterfall, tv, telephone, and internet access. Once I had time to relax I then had a thorough exam by Karen, with frequent "are you okay" visit from Dr. Skasko. The result of the exam required deep cleaning, which was scheduled over two days to combat the start of periodontal disease. Dr. Skasko made sure I had ample medication before, during and after the appointments and even called me at home to be sure everything was okay. Wow, that's almost like a home visit!

My whitening with Dr. Skasko and Heidi was just as pleasurable, warm and caring. The results were great. I can't say enough about everyone and highly recommend this practice for all your family dental needs.

About Hygienist: Karen is the best. She is friendly, approachable, thorough, and knowledgeable. My teeth never felt so good and the procedure was quick. Karen took the time to educate and offered useful tips to help put good dental hygiene in practice.

Dr. Skasko is the best dental professional I have ever had the privilege of getting service from. He has whitened my teeth, fixed my periodontal disease, and given me a crown.. all at the highest level of satisfaction I have ever had from any dental professional. I love Dr. Skasko and his staff!! From the moment you walk in the door they are friendly and caring. About a year ago Dr.Skasko had to place a crown on one of my teeth that had cracked (this was my second crown total) . I was very anxious about the procedure but it was nothing like the first crown I had a few years prior by my previous dentist. It took about half the time I thought it would and wasn't as painful as I had remembered. I have sought Dr. Skasko's advice on multiple occasions about issues I've had for years with my jaw and he always takes the time to offer his professional advice without making me feel like he's rushed to get to the next patient (even though I can clearly see his day is full!). Dr. Skasko and his staff are always very mindful of my jaw problems during routine cleanings and/or procedures and periodically check to make sure that I'm comfortable. Although I haven't had any radical procedures done by Dr. Skasko, just routine cleanings and several replaced fillings, I still wanted to put my two cents in. The Elite Dental office is spectacular... clean, comfortable and state-of-the-art. The staff is consistently friendly and conversational, and Dr. Skasko is pleasant and easy to talk to (figuratively, of course... no one is easy to talk to when you have dental instruments in your mouth). Not once have I felt any pain during treatment, whether from a forceful cleaning or a novocaine injection. Well....as a 57 year old baby who has a real phobia with needles and dentists...I have to say that Dr. Skasko and his staff are the best. From the moment you walk in the door till the time you are ready to leave, they treat you wonderful.

Dr. Skasko takes his time and explains the entire procedure as he is performing it. You may not be able to talk to him with all that is going on in your mouth, but is real nice to know whats going on!! Totally pain free....they always ask how you are doing and take measures to insure you are as comfortable as possible.

They handle all of the insurance, so there is none of the hastles of filing it youself.

As far as being expensive or not, I feel that is all relative to the financial situation you are in. If you earn 100k a year he is probably not as expensive as if you were earning 20k a year.

You can tell that the entire staff loves working there. They all take pride in there work.

If you haven't tried them...give Dr. Skasko and his staff a call. You will be totally amazed at the experience and the attention you will recieve!!

After 57 years of being afraid to go to the dentist....I think I have finally found one that I go to without fear !!

I experienced the best customer service ever at Dr. Skasko's office. I called for an appt due to pain in my lower mouth (gum area) and to get a cleaning done as well. Dr. Skasko was out of town and the staff went above and beyond to have another nearby colleague of Dr. Skasko's come into the office and take care of the procedure I needed and I was able to get a cleaning! I was VERY impressed with Dr. Skasko and his entire staff. I came in for a routine cleaning and whitening.

I have always had yellow-stained teeth, since I was a child and was given Tetracycline antibiotics for an infection. The antibiotics stained my permanent teeth, when I still had my "baby teeth". Since childhood I have been very unhappy with my smile due to my yellow-stained teeth.

Few months ago I was searching for a dentist in the Columbus area. Thanks to doctoroogle.com I found Dr. Skasko. I probably sound overexaggeratedly, but he really is a master of modern dentistry. When I came into the office ("Elite Dental" in New Albany) I was very impressed with their customer service and the atmosphere of the office itself (by the way they also have a really nice massage chair in the office). During my first visit, Dr. Skasko told me what has to be done and the way he would approach it. I had to fix 8 cavities and put 3 new crowns into my mouth. Dr. Skasko did an excellent job! Also besides all the fillings and crowns I did whitening in the office as well. I don't exactly remember the name of the whitening system, but it is new laser whitening. They also provide you with trays (they make them in the office according to your bite) that you have to use for one week after the procedure. After I finished using the trays I was and still am really impressed how much whiter my teeth got. WoW is all i can say when I look at my front teeth in the mirror! I was hit in the mouth moving my front tooth to back of my mouth. I looked like snagle tooth I was horrified. I call my dentist first and he never returned my call so i called my friend Karen which is Dr Skaskos dential hygensist told her my situation cause it was a late satuarday night. She called Dr skasko who was out of town and drove in sunday morning by 11 am to see me. I wasn't even a patient yet! I was nervous that I was not going to have a tooth and of the pain I would feel having my tooth fixed, on top of that I didnt have dental insurance. When I came to the office I couldnt believe how state of the art it is. Dr Skasko came around the corner and looked at me in tears about my tooth and said I can help you and I will fix your tooth. That was the best news I heard after staring hours in a mirror thinking i was going to be toothless. He was very uplifting and positive though out the procedure. He made sure I was always comfortable considering i never even had a filling before! Terrific office and staff, obviously takes great care and pride in his work and results, contacts you after your treatment to see how you're doing. State of the art techniques and equipment. Great chair side manners. Totally customer oriented and provides you an education and options which other dentists may not even mention. I recently had a crown put on and it fits perfectly and matches my other teeth in color and overall look as well. Karen, his hygienist, is excellent also at the basic cleanings. Gentle, careful, yet gets the job done.

I'm a person who has many teeth capped by several dentists. It's obvious from the moment you enter Elite Dental, it is professional yet very different dental office. The friendly staff puts one at ease... check out the massage chair and waterfall in the 'green room' it's great. Top-notch hygienist does complete gentle work... great advice.

The cap Dr. Skasko fit me with recently is clearly superior to my previous caps. He takes him time, seeks your expectations and plainly describes his plan of care.... the digital imaging gives a great view. Dr. Skasko's preparation and molds obviously went to a superior lab.... producing a cap like artwork, the caps by other dentists don't come close in quality. I've certainly found my dental practice of choice! Don't accept less, or let a insurance plan dictate your care.

I would highly recommend Dr. Skasko to anyone. Not only would I recommend him because of the state of the art facility that puts you at ease when you enter, but also because of the caring and knowledgable expertise of him and his staff.

Personally, I have never enjoyed going to the dentist, mainly because I did not know what they were doing to my teeth. Dr. Skasko has definitely changed that. He and his staff explained the entire process of what they were doing. The technology in the office allowed him to show me certain things inside my mouth and that ensured me that the proceedure he told me about needed to be done.

To top off the entire experience, I received a call from Dr. Skasko after my visit just to make sure everything went ok and everything was feeling ok. It is definitely a great experience.

From the moment I entered, I knew this dental office was first class. It got even better as I went through my emergency treatment, referral, follow-up, and then later a routine visit.

The decor is exceptional, and the relaxation room is extraordinary. The treatment area equipment and technology is state of the art.

Speaking of "state of the art", that also describes the treatment received and the quality of the entire staff. Atmosphere is very professional and chairside manners are superb. Services are explained thoughtfully and in detail. and administered with care and without discomfort.

Overall an amazingly pleasant experience, and this review is written by a 64 year old male that has previously been dental phobic!

Before meeting Dr. Skasko, going to the dentist was a nightmare. Not only for me but for my three children as well. I had a crown that was not done correctly by a previous dentist, and Dr. Skasko noticed that there was a gap where the crown met my gumline. This could have led to further complications down the road, however Dr. Skasko was able to diagnose the problem and correct it beautifully and without pain.

Dr. Skasko also whitened my teeth and I couldn't have been more pleased with the results. It made such a huge difference in my overall appearance. I am now contemplating veneers and would have no other doctor perform this procedure but Dr. Skasko.Dr. Skasko is definetly at the top of his field. He t cares about his patients and does truly remarkable work. I'm not exactly sure how he does it, but he has taken the pain out of dentristry. He is truly gifted.

Before Dr.Skasko, my children were terrified of going to the dentist, but he showed such compassion that now my children can't wait to go. I would highly recommend Dr. Skasko to anyone, not only for cosmetic procedures, but for full family dentistry.

I'm a 27 year old female who has always had a personal issue with her smile. I've always wanted it to be better.

I had visited several dentist and had some cosmetic procedures done on my front teeth but it wasn't long term.

I had a consultation with Dr. Skasko and was impressed with his honest opinion about my teeth and he made me feel confident that we could achieve my goals!

Dr. Skasko placed 6 veneers on my top anterior teeth. The procedure was lengthy, but I was very comfortable. Dr. Skasko has a very gentle chair-side manner and when he administers anesthesia it's painless! I am recommending Dr. Skasko to anyone who has any type of dental apprehension.

Dr. Skasko called me the night of my appointment to see how I was doing and I was very impressed with that. He seems truely concerned with his patients wellfare.

My veneers are white and beautiful and I receive many compliments about my smile. I'm always proud to tell people that Dr. Skasko did my work and I highly recommend him to anyone!

Dr. Skasko is a consummate professional. I highly recommend him for a number of reasons. Dr. Skasko gave me a beautiful smile with veneers and crowns.
