Case Description
After years of not keeping up with dental care, no insurance or could not afford, my dentist says my real teeth, those that are left, are only going to make it another 5 years even if he does fillings, etc. I've never heard of this before. I need some teeth cut out and a crown on two and fillings. He says it will be aboutl 3,000 to do all the repairs. Dentures however , including all extractions and followup .will only cost around 4,000 I want to know if this is my only option. I can not afford implants. Thank you for your time. Teresa Lane

Teresa,It sounds like you are looking for a second opinion. If you have had any x-rays in the last year, I would obtain copies of them. Next, you can search for a dentist in the Newark area or we would be happy to see you here in Reynoldsburg. Most dentist will want to take x-rays of your teeth and perhaps a comprehensive exam to figure out if your remaining teeth can be saved or you truly need dentures.Good Luck, and maybe we will see you here.Dr. Smith
